# Withdraw

## Overview

You can withdraw from a Gremlix vault by redeeming your vault shares for the underlying asset. The amount you receive reflects your original deposit plus any yield earned, minus fees.

## Step-by-Step

### 1. Connect Your Wallet

Open the Gremlix app and connect the wallet that holds your vault shares.

### 2. Navigate to Your Vault

Go to the vault you want to withdraw from and open the **Vault Details** page.

### 3. Enter Withdrawal Amount

In the **Withdraw** (Redeem) section:

1. Enter the number of **shares** you want to redeem, OR
2. Enter the **asset amount** you want to receive
3. The app will calculate the equivalent automatically
4. Use **Max** to redeem your full position

### 4. Confirm Withdrawal

1. Click **Withdraw**
2. Review the transaction in your wallet popup — check the asset amount you'll receive
3. Confirm the transaction
4. Wait for on-chain confirmation

### 5. Receive Your Assets

After confirmation, the underlying assets (USDC or WBTC) will be in your wallet. Your vault share balance will decrease accordingly.

## What You Receive

```
Withdrawal amount = shares × current share price − withdrawal fee
Example:
  Shares held:     1,000 gUSDC
  Current price:   1.083 USDC per share
  Gross amount:    1,083 USDC
  Withdrawal fee:  0%  (if configured)
  Net received:    1,083 USDC
```

## Partial Withdrawals

You can withdraw any portion of your position. Your remaining shares continue to earn yield.

## Important Notes

| Topic              | Detail                                            |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------- |
| Lock-up            | Check Vault details                               |
| Withdrawal fee | May apply (up to 2%, check vault details) |
| Paused withdrawals | The vault owner may pause withdrawals temporarily |
| Gas cost           | Very low on Arbitrum (< $0.01)                    |
| Processing time    | Instant on-chain, \~1–3 seconds on Arbitrum       |

## Strategy Liquidity

In normal operation, the vault maintains a cash buffer to service withdrawals. For large withdrawals, the Keeper may need to deallocate capital from the strategy first. If the vault lacks sufficient liquid assets:

* The transaction will revert
* Contact the protocol team or wait for the next deallocation cycle

Large withdrawal requests are typically serviced within 48 hours.

## Yield at Withdrawal

Your yield is reflected in the **share price** at the time of withdrawal. You do not need to manually claim yield — it is automatically included when you redeem your shares.
